Just a few short weeks until the new year, yet Microsoft doesn't hold back and presents one last batch of games. Every month, the company adds a diverse range of titles, splitting them into two announcements - one at the start and one at the midway point. From small indie gems to massive triple-A games, there's something for every gaming taste.

First Half of December: A First-Party Delight

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle takes center stage in December's Game Pass additions. Launching in just a few days, this highly anticipated title is set to captivate players. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled also makes its way to the service tomorrow, adding a fun and timely element. With the 30th anniversary of the PlayStation this week, it's a great addition. Alongside these, there are lovely indie titles like Road 96, Carrion, and Wildfrost. If you haven't checked them out yet, they are definitely worth a look.

Forza Motorsport on Xbox Series X|S also joins the Game Pass family on December 4. Now available on Game Pass Standard, it offers an exciting racing experience. Hauntii, Humanity, and EA Sports WRC also make their debuts during this period, providing a variety of gaming options.

Second Half of December: More Titles to Explore

December 9 sees the arrival of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. This is a significant addition for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. Wildfrost follows on December 10, available on Cloud, Console, and PC. Carrion also joins the lineup on January 2, accessible through Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard.

Road 96 makes its appearance on January 7, offering yet another gaming experience. These titles bring a wealth of entertainment and variety to the Xbox Game Pass community.

Game Pass Core: Small but Sweet

Game Pass Core, the lower tier with a smaller selection of titles but access to online play, also gets three additions on December 4. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, DayZ, and Goat Simulator bring some fun to this tier as well.

Games Leaving in December

Unfortunately, not all games last forever. This month, Amnesia: The Bunker, Rise of the Tomb Raider, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, and Lego 2K Drive, among others, are leaving the service. However, if you want to keep playing, you can pick them up at a 20% discount before they go. Forza Horizon 4 will also be delisted from both Game Pass and other digital storefronts as it reaches the end of its availability period.
