Scheduled for release on April 30, 2025, this new set will feature a comprehensive collection rather than a limited edition theme. Alongside this expansion, an in-game event is planned to mark the game's six-month anniversary. This update includes notable changes such as two booster packs centered around Legendary Pokémon Solgaleo and Lunala, focus on Alolan Pokémon, and special Trainer cards tied to Trial Leaders from Pokémon Sun and Moon.

According to the official press release, the Celestial Guardians expansion dives deep into the universe of Alola, incorporating various forms of Pokémon native to this region. Fans can look forward to encountering not only iconic Legendary Pokémon like Solgaleo and Lunala but also other regional variants such as Alolan Raichu and Meowth. Additionally, the first-ever Immersive Full Art card based on a Trainer card makes its debut, featuring Lillie, a character from Pokémon Sun and Moon.
